Dr. Brooke Lunsamnn is excited to be part of the Portland Family Health community. A native Oregonian, she attended the University of Oregon where she was inspired by her lifelong enthusiasm for healthcare earning her BS in Human Physiology. Dr. Brooke continued to earn an additional BS in Biology and in graduated summa cum laude with her Doctorate of Chiropractic from University of Western State in Portland, Oregon.
During her clinical education, Dr. Lunsmann received added experience in functional rehabilitation for sports related injuries, recovery from motor vehicle accidents, TMJ syndrome and plantar fasciitis. She works to find the root cause of symptoms and encourages patients to take an active role in their care. Dedicated to continued leaning, she has attended seminars for excellence in spinal and extremity manipulation, Activator method, instrument assisted soft tissue, perinatal care and Active Release Technique. Dr. Brooke has a passion for movement-based diagnosis and treatment. Her diverse approach includes gait analysis, cupping, kinesiotaping, neurodynamics and muscle energy techniques.
When not with patients, she can be found on her yoga mat, the golf course, or the ski slopes, and often planning her next backpacking adventure. A foodie with food sensitivities, she enjoys finding and creating recipes. Dr. Brooke loves spending time with her partner, Tyler, her close-knit family and her new nephew Wyatt.
