Dr. Jessica Budjac is committed to providing effective quality care for the whole body. She utilizes a variety of styles to promote a stable and functional body through all phases of healing. She believes each patient should be evaluated on an individual basis and personalizes treatment to accommodate distinct needs. Dr. Jessica strives to educate and empower each individual to take an active role in their care. As a certified Chiropractic Sports Physician® (CCSP®), Dr Jessica is rendered proficient in the prevention and treatment of athletic injuries having enhanced her diagnostic skills and patient care with postgraduate coursework. Dr. Jessica has also broadened her knowledge and skill set with advanced education in techniques such as Webster, Craniosacral Therapy, Barral Visceral Manipulation, Activator, Graston Instrumented Assisted, Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization, and other movement-based systems. As such, Dr. Jessica has a passion for and is excited to work with patients of all ages and backgrounds – from athletes and pregnant mamas to elders and children. Dr. Jessica received her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Portland’s own University of Western States. She earned a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Kinesiology – Exercise Science from the University of Minnesota. Before bringing her Midwestern roots to Portland, Dr. Jessica spent a handful of years living abroad teaching scuba diving and working as an underwater videographer. In her free time, you can find Dr. Jessica climbing rocks, practicing yoga or exploring the backwoods. She teaches Hatha/Vinyasa yoga and enjoys travel, reading and records. Dr. Jessica is looking forward to working with you to promote an optimal level of health, wellness and functionality!
Dr. Kelly is certified in Webster technique, and Cox technique, but also practices Mayan Abdominal Massage, Drop table, Activator, SOT and many other techniques that range from very gentle to more vigorous manipulation styles. She learned Craniosacral Therapy from Carol Gray utilizing the gentle effectiveness of the modality to help patients with a variety of issues.
Dr. Brooke Lunsamnn is excited to be part of the Portland Family Health community. A native Oregonian, she attended the University of Oregon where she was inspired by her lifelong enthusiasm for healthcare earning her BS in Human Physiology. Dr. Brooke continued to earn an additional BS in Biology and in graduated summa cum laude with her Doctorate of Chiropractic from University of Western State in Portland, Oregon. During her clinical education, Dr. Lunsmann received added experience in functional rehabilitation for sports related injuries, recovery from motor vehicle accidents, TMJ syndrome and plantar fasciitis. She works to find the root cause of symptoms and encourages patients to take an active role in their care. Dedicated to continued leaning, she has attended seminars for excellence in spinal and extremity manipulation, Activator method, instrument assisted soft tissue, perinatal care and Active Release Technique. Dr. Brooke has a passion for movement-based diagnosis and treatment. Her diverse approach includes gait analysis, cupping, kinesiotaping, neurodynamics and muscle energy techniques. When not with patients, she can be found on her yoga mat, the golf course, or the ski slopes, and often planning her next backpacking adventure. A foodie with food sensitivities, she enjoys finding and creating recipes. Dr. Brooke loves spending time with her partner, Tyler, her close-knit family and her new nephew Wyatt.
Dr. Emily Watters has a lifelong passion for learning, having graduated cum laude with departmental honors from the University of Oregon with Bachelors of Science in Psychology and General Science, and minors in Biology and Chemistry. She then continued her education at the University of Western States, graduating summa cum laude as a chiropractic physician. With clinical interests focusing on pediatric, pregnancy, and postpartum care, Dr. Emily has been an active steward to these populations, serving at the academic, clinical and legislative levels. She is certified in Webster Technique to help optimize pelvic alignment during pregnancy and is trained in Craniosacral Therapy. She was elected and is currently serving on the executive committee for the American Chiropractic Association’s Pediatrics Council. Dr. Emily inspiration for entering into chiropractic was based on the help she received from a chiropractor during her most physically and mentally formative years. As a new mother, she also has a personal understanding of the importance physical medicine can play in helping nurture the mother-child dyad. It is from these experiences that she has devoted her future chiropractic practice toward helping aid in the optimal health and development of pediatric and perinatal patients. In her free time Dr. Emily loves to travel abroad, sing and spend time in the outdoors with her husband, Sean and son, Oliver.
